Duane Dilworth Call, Sr. passed away on Monday, August 24, 2015 of natural causes.

He was born May 25, 1926 to A. Alwin and Idonna Nielsen Call in Murray.

Duane served in the U.S. Navy, WWII aboard U.S.S. Intrepid. He served an LDS mission in Northern California.

His career was teaching LDS seminary and junior high math. He was a world renowned field-trial dog-trainer.

Duane is survived by children, Duane D. Call, Jr. (Arlene), Roxanne Kelly, Michael M. Call (Colynne), A. Alwyn Call (Shelly), Daniel C. Call (Leesa), Joseph R. Call (Michell), and Becky Merkley (Roger); twenty-six grandchildren, forty great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Also survived by two sisters, Marilyn Dahle (Kasey) and Carol Jacobson; and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his son-in-law, Daniel M. Kelly; great-grandson, Dillon Montgomery; and sister, Shirley (Carl) Stott.

The family wishes to thank Adagio Hospice for their loving care of Dad.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 28, 2015 in the Taylorsville Central Stake Center, 4950 South 1950 West, Taylorsville, where a viewing will be held one hour prior to the services.
Interment at Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road (1700 West), Taylorsville.
