James Cummings, son of Patrick and Elizabeth Kelly Cummings, born Jan.25,1844. Married Winifred Plunkett on Nov. 27, 1873 and they had three children, Loretta, Mary "Florence" and William.
James was a police officer in Williamsport and died tragically in a hunting accident on Aug. 24, 1894. Both he and Winifred are buried in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
