Mrs. John H. HOFF, 61, of Plemons, died at 4:55 this morning in a local hospital following a three days' illness.
Mrs. HOFF came to Hutchinson county from Mangum, Oklahoma, and is survived by 11 children.
Mr. HOFF is custodian of the Plemons school, a position he has maintained the last 13 years.
Tentative funeral arrangements are set for Saturday morning at 10 o'clock in the Borger Baptist church, with the Rev. J. N. Hunt officiating. Interment will be at Alanreed.
Survivors include seven sons, Tom of Plemons, Henry of the Stekoll lease, Dial, Ted of Skellytown, George and Elmer of Borger, Jack and Clyde of Plemons; and four daughters, Mrs. Newt HOLT of Bakersfield, California, Mrs. Otis WILSON of Dalhart, Mrs. Press WILSON of Sunray, Mrs. Don McCOURY of Sanford.
Also surviving are five sisters, Miss Nona DAVIS of Clinton, Oklahoma, Mrs. Ellen McHENDRY of Vega, Mrs. Nettie REED of Miami, Mrs. Ludie REED of Mobeetie, and Miss Mattie DAVIS of Erick, Oklahoma; and one brother, Hartley DAVIS of Alanreed.
Powell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
