VETERAN OF WORLD WAR II
(ASN) - 38342393~PFC JACK HOFF KILLED IN FRANCE
DALHART, April 19 -- Mrs. Newt HOLT of Dalhart revealed this midweek a War Department message saying that her brother, PFC Jack HOFF, 25 years old, was killed in France, March 16. Another sister, Mrs. Otis WILSON, lives in the Coldwater community, 30 miles north of Dalhart.
The young Doughboy's father, J. H. HOFF, is a Borger resident. Another brother, Staff Sgt. Clyde HOFF, 19, with the Air Forces, has been missing in Europe since Christmas Day, 1944. A third brother, Sgt. George HOFF, is stationed with the infantry at San Antonio.
