Death Claims Mrs. Crane, 75 --

Mrs. Virginia Ake Crane of Cowan, wife of Allen Crane, died Friday at Emerald-Hodgson Hospital following a brief illness. She was 75.

Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Watson Funeral Home. The Rev. Bobby Hancock and the Rev. Richard Schurman officiated. Burial was in Franklin Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Crane was the daughter of William Ake and Mollie McCallie Ake. A Franklin County native, she was born February 15, 1903.

She was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

A brother, Luther Ake of Sherwood is the only other immediate survivor.
