Norman Devon Lutz, age 82, of Sherrills Ford, was a son to the late Ralph S. and Meadie Hudspeth Lutz. He was preceded in death by a grandson Christopher Shaun Lutz, a brother Ralph T. Lutz, and a sister Syvilla Hoffman.
Mr. Lutz was retired from the Lake Norman Marine Commission where he served as a police officer, was Captain of Detectives at the Lincoln County Sherriff’s Department, and was also an ordained Baptist minister serving several congregations.
Interment in Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery.
