Davis Homma was a full blood Choctaw. His father, according to the Indian Roll of 1902, was Paul Homma - 32 at the time of the roll..

Also in he family were brothers Wilson who was 10, Reuben- 8, and his sister Siney-6. Davis was 4 at the time of the roll..
According to Birdie Jane Knox, Davis was raised in her family and his sister Siney was raised in an Uncle's family (George R. Tucker). According the the family story, someone came along wanting to sell the children, and members of the family traded for them, so they would have a good home. Birdie always considered Siney as almost a sister, Birdie and Siney visited my home in the late 1960's..
According to the 1900 Census, Davis was living in the home with his parents, in the Ryan area..
