Decatur -- Alice Louise Feezel, 85, passed away August 13, 2015. She was the youngest of three daughters born to Herb and Ann Horstmann of Alton, IL. One sister, Jeane Wood and one child, James Edward Feezel preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband of more than 66 years, James Feezel; her five children, Richard Feezel (Linda), Jeane Gardner, Lis Smith (Keith), Paula Lewis (Tim), Deborah Opp (Lon); nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Feezel called Decatur her home for more than 59 years and was employed as a telephone operator before raising her five children became her full-time job.
Visitation will be at Roselawn Funeral Home from 4 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, August 15, 2015. Funeral service will be at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date in Burningtree Cemetery.
