Rose Anna Walter Black was my Grandaunt. Daughter of Thomas Hall and Caroline Sparks. Sister of my grandfather, John. Born in Mexborough, Yorkshire England, she immigrated with family to the US in the late 1880's. Her first husband, Ellsworth Walter died young. She married Francis Kinney but Walter is on her stone as well as Black. I discoverd this when I received her stone photo from a volunteer. Black was not in the transcript I read. So at some point she married her third husband. The name Roseanna was also in the transcript as well in census records and marriage certificate. In England her name was given as Rose Hannah. She had two children who died at a young age. I don't know what happened to Francis or Mr. Black at this time. Will need to look for more info.
