Betty J. Dressler, 87, passed away Sunday, Aug. 9, 2015, at Spring Creek Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was the widow of Ceylon A. "Dick" Dressler.
Born October 13, 1927, in Locust Run, she was a daughter of the late Harry B. and Bertha E. (Pry) Dreese.
Surviving is a son, Dallas R. Dressler and wife, Brenda; a daughter, Darlene J. McCurdy and husband, Tom; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and her parents, Betty was predeceased by a son, Larry C. Dressler; a brother, Harry Dreese; and three sisters, Helen Wilson, Annamary Graybill, and Madeline Gable.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 13, at Zimmerman-Auer Funeral Home, Inc., 4100 Jonestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17109, with Rev. Ronald Dressler officiating. Viewing will be from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment at St. John's Cemetery, Shiremanstown, will follow the service.
