The very sad news reached Paullina yesterday evening from Sioux City that Miss Anna Goodmanson had passed away at the hospital during the afternoon. It will be remembered that the lady had been there for the second time, afterward contracting that dread disease, typhoid fever. Her physical condition was such that she was compelled to surrender this life.

Her sisters, Mrs. Jacob Ginger, Miss Lizzie Goodmanson, her father, Iver Goodmanson, and other relatives were with her during the last moments. At this time we are unable to prepare an obituary notice.

Friends of the deceased, as well as the relatives, mourn her deaparture, and the relatives, perhaps, feel no more keenly the loss than the friends who had known the young lady for a long time.

The funeral will be held on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Norwegian Lutheran church, Rev. Sletten being in charge of the services. Miss Goodmanson has been a member of this church for a long time.

The funeral of Miss Anna Goodmanson last Saturday was very largely attended the Norwegian Lutheran church being filled to overflowing. All the near relatives were present. Bert and L. M. Goodmanson of Ireton, Alfred Idso of Humboldt, Ole and Andrew Hanson of Holstein, were among those from outside who were present.

Anna was born March 1,1865, in Hardin county, and died August 12, 1908, at Sioux City. She came with the other relatives to O'Brien county when but one week old and has made her home in the vicinity ever since. Her father, Iver Goodmanson, three sisters, Mrs. Jacob Gingcr, Mary and Lizzie, and her brother Goodman Goodmanson are the only near relatives.
