Robert William Davis, 67, died Sept. 24, 1990, in Lafayette Home Hospital. Born Dec. 11, 1922, he was the son of William and Florence (Calder) Davis. In 1944, he married Lucy M. Reece, in Lafayette, and she survives.
Mr. Davis, a life resident of Lafayette, was a mechanic for 34 years. He worked for University Motors for 15 years, retiring in 1980. He was a member of First Christian Church.
Surviving with his wife is a daughter, Sally Jean (Mrs. Harry M.) Kantz of Memphis, TN. Graveside rite Sept. 27, at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens, the Rev. Dr. Jack L. Snellgrove officiating.
