Services Monday for Mrs. Eliona S. Bird.

Funeral services for Mrs. Eliona S. Bird, former resident of Arkansas City who died Saturday in Chillicothe, Ill., were held at 4 o'clock Monday afternoon in Trinity Episcopal church. The Rev. Carlton A. Clark officiated. Miss Ernestine Parker presided at the organ. Pallbearers were A.H. Moore, Dr. O.E. Stodtman, E.C. Dye, F.O. Thomas, Earl Fleming and O.G. Pierson. Interment was in Hope cemetery west of the city. Oldroyd was in charge.

Mrs. Bird was the mother of Mrs. Bessie O. Stewart of this city. She died at the home of another daughter, Mrs. Byron Eldridge, in Chillicothe. Mrs. Eldridge and Mrs. Earl Roach, Wichita, another daughter, brought the body here. Mr. Eldridge and Mr. Roach, who were here also, returned to their homes Monday night.
