Corona, Calif. - Eugene William German, age 82, of Corona, Calif., passed away Friday, July 21, 2006. Eugene was born April 28, 1924, in Guelph, N.D. He was employed as a Maintenance Foreman with 3M Company for 26 years and Schmadig Corporation for 30 years. Eugene served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church, American Legion-Oakes, N.D., enjoyed traveling and was always helping others. Eugene is survived by his wife of 53 years, Veryl L. German; two sons, Mark German, John German; daughter-in-law, Cindy German, all of Corona, Calif.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation is Friday, July 28, 4 to 8 p.m. with Rosary at 6 p.m. at Thomas Miller Mortuary. Mass at St. Matthew's Catholic Church on Monday, July 31, 9:30 a.m. with burial to follow at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd.
