Leonard S. Hillis, 89, passed away August 9, 2015. He was a World War II Army veteran and served in the European Theater. He was also a member of Getwell Church of Christ.

Mr. Hillis is survived by his wife of 68 years, Elna Fern Hillis; 2 children, Leonard K. Hillis (Cynthia K.), and Dianna Autry (John); 4 grandchildren, Jessica Lancaster (John), Christina Tucker (Ryan), Jeremy Hillis (Tara) and Laura Russell (Joey) and 11 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 1:15 pm on Wednesday, August 12, at West Tennessee Veteran’s Cemetery.
