Mrs. Clymer was born May 11, 1916 in Montgomery County, near Stanton to Charles and Ella Ingraham Cornlison and was a lifetime-long resident of the county. She married Ervin Edward on October 31, 1934 in Red Oak, Iowa and after his death in 1945, she married Roland Clymer in 1961. A homemaker, she was a 25 year member of the Montgomery County Fair Board and had formerly worked for the City of Red Oak and the Youth Corps.
Survivors include her husband; one son, Charles Ervin Edwards of Showlow, Arizona; two daughters, Frances Carlson of Scottsdale, California and Sandra Black of Red Oak; 9 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
