It is said, by those who knew her, that she was a determined woman, well loved by family amd friends, independent, caring and loving. Stubborn, almost to a fault, she was a force to be reckoned with, as her photo atests, someone whom many would enjoy having been related to and known.
I am one of her G-granddaughters and was born one-hundred-three years, to the day, after her birth. Had a phone call not been delayed, I would have been named for her, rather than for my maternal grandmother.
Grandma Anna is still loved and missed. May the generations rise up and bless her name, for we shall never see her like again.
