"Cornelia" was baptized 11 Mar 1900 in Sioux Center, Sioux Co., Iowa (as was her brother Edward in 1898). The family was back in Kansas for the June 1900 census.
Rites are held Friday for Mrs. Ralph Lammers
Funeral services were held at the First Christian Reformed Church here at 11 A.M. Friday, May 31, for Mrs. Ralph Lammers, 74, of Sioux Center, who died at the Sioux Center Community Hospital May 29.
Services were conducted by the Rev. Dr. P.Y. De Jong and burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery here under the direction of Vander Ploeg's Funeral home.
Mrs. Lammers, the former Katie Van Donge, was born in Dispatch, Kan., January 10, 1900.
She moved to Sioux Center in 1918, and was married to Ralph Lammers here on March 17, 1920.
Survivors include the widower; two sons, Stan and Ralph Jr., of Sioux Center six daughters, Mrs. Jake (Frieda) Vande Brake, Mrs. Lawrence (Dorothy) Mouw and Mrs. Fred (Evelyn) Lamfers, all of Sioux Center, Mrs. Rich (Ruth) Van Ravenswaay of Ireton, Mrs. Allen (Lila) Van Dyke of Sibley, Mrs. Ralph (Bertha) Schat of Sheldon; a brother, Edward, of Ireton; three sisters, Mrs. Henry (Jane) Koops and Mrs. John (Elizabeth) Von Hof of Denver, Colo.; Mrs. Fred (Mary) Spald of Lebanon, Kan.; 29 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
