On February 20, 2014, Georgia Marie Allen Mitchell was reunited with her longest, strongest and truest love, her husband, Lewis who passed away six days earlier.
Georgia was born in a log cabin on the river near Bailesyville on September 3, 1930 to Andrew Lee Allen and Emma Morgan Allen.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Arnold Ralph Allen, William Sydney Allen; sisters, Louise (an infant), Bess Bentley Dean Omer, Mary Short, Julia Mabe, Mildred Prater, Martha Allen, Carolyn Kennedy and her identical twin sister, Garnette Hatfield.
Georgia is survived by her only child, Kathy Marie Mitchell Upton and her husband, Dean; 3 grandchildren, Joy Marie Wade and her husband, Christopher, Bonnie Lee Conner and her husband, Jason and Emma Elizabeth Upton; 2 great-grandsons, Roryk Mitchell Wade and Ronyn McKinley Wade; a sister, Joyce Vance and her husband, Riley Ord; several nieces and nephews; 3 special friends, Helen Graham, Juanita Cook and Nora Cline.
