Mrs. Caroline, wife of Iver A. Bottolfson of Bancroft, passed away at her home there last Saturday evening, December 1st, aged about 33 years, after a lingering illness with consumption.
The deceased was born in Riceland of this county and was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert O. Bagaasen of that town.
She was married about six years ago to Iver Bottolfson of Bancroft, and the union was blessed with a sweet baby girl, now five years old, who together with her husband survives her.
Besides her parents and two sisters;
Mrs. Helmer Mickelson of Bancroft
Mrs. Bernhard Narveson of Polk County
Two brothers;
O.G. and Norvald Bagaasen of this county, mourn her early death.
She was an excellent lady and bore her sufferings patiently hoping that a turn in the disease would come and that she would yet be restored to health, but her hopes and the hopes of her husband and relatives were not realized and she passed away peacefully.
The bereaved family have the sympathy of a host of friends in their sad affliction.
The funeral was held at the Central Bancroft Lutheran church yesterday afternoon and was attended by a large number of friends.
