McCook Daily Gazette, Abstract Book 7/9/1982-Mrs. Margaret M. Willhelmy, 85, died this morning at the Community Hospital. She was born Dec. 13, 1896 at Woodridge, Tenn., the daughter of the late Issac and Rebecca (Durham)Sharp. At the age of 12 she moved with her parents to Akron, Colo. She was married to Lawton Foster Nov. 24, 1915 at Akron and they moved to McCook in 1916. Her husband preceded her in death. She was married Dec. 18, 1944 at Oberlin to Tarence Willhelmy and he died Oct. 1, 1945. She had spent her life in McCook and was a member of the Memorial United Methodist Church and Rebekah Lodge for more than 50 years. She was a past president and served other offices in the American War Mothers Union, Veteran Navy Mothers and McCook Womans Club. Her parents, one granddaughter, one great-granddaughter, five brothers and three sisters preceded her in death. Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Roy (Hope) Anderson of Great Falls, Mont; two sons, Lawton N. Foster of Loveland, Colo. and Durward S. Foster of Boulder, Colo.; five granddaughters; 10 great-grandchildren and one brother, William Sharp. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Memorial United Methodist. The Rev. Merwyn Davidson will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery with the Herrmann Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Friends may call at the funeral home and memorials are being accepted and may be left at the funeral home.
