Ann, born July 28, 1916, was the last living offspring of the ten children born to John and Blanche (Triplett) O'Brien of Barnesville, Ohio.
She lived in the Hilltop area, where she worked as a beautician for several years.
She was a member of Oakhurst Country Club for many years and was an avid golfer into her early 90's.
When she wasn't playing golf, you could find her at the card table playing bridge or euchre.
Ann and her late husband, John, were devout members of St. Mary Magdalene parish for many decades. "Nannie" was the epitome of what an aunt should be; she loved and doted on her numerous nieces and nephews, she was generous in every way possible, and she influenced their lives in so many positive ways.
She was, and continues to be, SO beloved by them all in return. Her death marks an end of an era and she will be greatly missed. GO O'BRIENS!!!!
Preceded in death by her husband John J. Bossman, siblings Will, Arthur, Charles and John D. O'Brien, Mary Wilson, Katy Ryan, Helen Thompson, Edna Grendell, and Alice Henry.
Survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Memorial Mass will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, July 31, 2015, at Our Mother of Sorrow Chapel in St. Joseph Cemetery.
