Paul G. Bevers, 71, of Seymour, passed away Friday, July 24, 2015, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana in Columbus. Born July 23, 1944, in Seymour, he was the son of Charlies and Mary A. George Bevers, both of whom preceded him in death. On Dec. 2, 1972, in Seymour, he married Linda McKinney who survives.Paul proudly served as a sergeant in the U.S. Army. He was an electronics technician and retired from Cummins Engine Co. on May 1, 2015, after 30 years of service. He was a member of Cornerstone Community Church. Other survivors besides his wife of almost 43 years, include children, Angela Bevers-Mills, Heather (Neal) Bevers-Keaton and Scott Logan Bevers, all of Seymour; grandchildren, Garrett Mills, Addison Keaton, Camillya Keaton, Liz Keaton and Brian Mills; and siblings, Carl (Anne) Bevers of Vernon Hills, Illinois, Richard (Bev) Bevers of Bedford and Bette (Donald) Littell of North Vernon. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Sebastian Keaton; brother, Morris "Bud" Bevers and his wife, Bettie; and sister, Wilma Bevers. A celebration of life will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Woodlawn Life Celebration Centre in Seymour with Pastor Alisha Roberts officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery.
