[ENGLISH]: On the second pillar {column -ed.}, the side of the tower, there are two epitaphs, one written and the other engraved: "Here lies the venerable person, Sir Adam Prevost, a priest and canon of the collegiate church of Saint Etienne of Dreux, who founded two 'obits' {memorial services -ed.} in said church, annual and perennial: one on the date of "Sainte Barbe", and the other on the date of his death, which was 26 July 1553. Pray to God for his soul."
