Eva Elizabeth Harper Bean, age 92, of White Plains, GA formerly of Paducah, KY died Friday, July 24, 2015 at her residence surrounded by her loved ones. A native of Scottsville, KY, she was born on February 9, 1923 the daughter of the late George William Harper and Addie Susie Goodwin Harper. She graduated from Scottsville High School and worked many years at Sears in Paducah where she retired as a Retail Sales Manager. She married Troy Delbert Bean on November 29, 1942. Eva was a member of Woodlawn Presbyterian Church, Paducah, KY. She attended First Baptist Church of Greensboro and was a member of the Agape Amicus Fidelis Sunday School class. She enjoyed quilting and needlework. Eva was a member of Liberty Busy Bees whose ministry was Project Linus, a national organization whose volunteers make blankets for sick or traumatized kids. It is estimated that in the five years Eva lived in Georgia, she made over 1,700 blankets for kids in Greene and other Middle Georgia Counties.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Troy Delbert Bean; and siblings, Hattie Virginia Harper Bond, Hoyt Perry Harper, Addie Lee Harper Henderson, Harold Ray Harper, George William Harper, Jr., Dale McAlpine Harper, Elnora Unadean Harper Orndoff, Sarah Marie Harper, Herman Hale Harper and Robert Wayne Harper. Survivors include her daughter, Sue Bean Carter and husband James F. Carter of White Plains, GA; grandson, Michael Alan Harris and wife Tami Harris of Watkinsville, GA, and great grandsons, Troy Michael Harris of Watkinsville, GA and Travis Joel Mulkey of Atlanta, GA; sister, Mary Juanita Harper Buchanan of Paducah, KY, Lena Joyce Harper Scobel of Atlanta, GA; other relatives and many friends

Funeral Services will be held, Monday, July 27, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, 203 S. Main Street, Greensboro, GA 30642 with Rev. Rick Hermann officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until time for the service at the church. On Wednesday, July 29, 2015, Funeral Services will be held at Milner and Orr Funeral Home, 120 Memorial Drive, Paducah, KY 42001 and burial will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, 6965 Old US Hwy S, Paducah, KY 42003. The family requests any memorials be made to the First Baptist Church, 203 S.
