Daughter of S.W.R. Jones

Born to Silas Washington Robinson (S.W.R.) Jones and Elizabeth Allen.

Twin sister of William. Other siblings: James Thomas (1837); Joseph Philip (1839); Rachel (Fain) (1841); John Calvin (1845); Silas Allen (1845); Jesse Berryman (1847); Madison Lafayette (1849); Samuel William (1850); Frances Elizabeth (1852); Emily (1856); Sarah (1858); Scott (1861) and Harrison (1861).

Married Harrison King Hunsaker June 7, 1870 in French Prairie, Oregon.

Children: Silas Eugene (1861); Daniel Earnest (1863); Lulu Ethel (Litherland) (1866); Edward Arthur (1868); Earl Valentine (1870); and Alice Zoe (West) (1872).

Grandchildren:

Ethel's children: Earl Francis (1885); Edward Rollo (1887); Beryle Margaret (1890) and Francis Lowell Litherland (1895).

Zoe's children: Ralph Eric (1894) and Harold Byron West (1901).

Arthur's children: Elda Mary and Edward Harrison Hunsaker.

Susannah's funeral was held in the Pioneer Church, shown here. This cemetery was founded by her father and her brother, William Henry was the first one buried here two years after they arrived in Oregon.

Susannah was survived by two sisters, Emma Simmons of Salem and Sarah Clark of Portland. Two brothers also survived her: Madison L. and Scott Jones. Her children who survived her were her daughtersT
