MRS. RUTH O. CONNOR
Ruth O. Connor, 85, of 1455 Congress St., died Saturday in a local hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born in Franklin, N.N., May 5, 1890, the daughter of George and Susan Tarbox Grace and attended schools there. She lived in North Yamrouth for 25 years before moving to Portland area for many years. Mrs. Connor was a member of the New Gloucester Baptist Church. Her first husband, Wilson Bennett, died in 1918 and her second husband Gerry Connor died in 1953. She is survived by a son, Howard Wilson Bennett of Portland; a granddaughter and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Lindquist Funeral Home, 37 Portland St., Yarmouth. Interment will be in Hill Yard Cemetery, New Gloucester.
