Charles Clinton "Biddy" Culver is the son of William T and Marietta Lee Culver.

PROMINENT OIL WORKER DEAD

Clinton Culver, known throughout the oil fields of Wood County and this section of the state as "Biddy", is dead. He passed away at his home in Jerry City yesterday morning at eleven-twenty o'clock after suffering from the effects of heart trouble and dropsy for many months.
Funeral services will be held at the Methodist church in Jerry City on Thursday afternoon at two o'clock and internment will be in Jerry City Cemetery.
He was about seventy years old and was at one time one of the foremost oil workers in the Wood County field. He was known throughout the county and had many friends.
He is survived by his wife and six children, Ralph at home; Fred, in Saginaw, Mich; Mrs. Earl Ringle, of Toledo; Mrs. Glenn Waltermier, of Cleveland; Mrs. Marie Martinson, of Toledo and Mrs. James Walker, of Toledo.
