E. of Los Angeles, John A. of Spokane; 4 sisters and 1 brother. Funeral Tues. Jan. 12, at 2:30 p. m. from the Alwin Chapel at Hazen & Jaeger's. Interment Riverside Park.

MORGAN ACRES PIONEER DIES
Mrs. William Rule, 65, whose family was one of the first half dozen persons to settle on Morgan Acres northeast of Hillyard in 1906, died yesterday at her home, E2705 Nebraska, following an illness of six weeks. Her health had been impaired for the last 15 years.

She was born Bertha Jane Thompson in Soldier, Kan., came west to Basin, Mont., in 1899 following her marriage, and then to Spokane. She was a member of the Hillyard Congregational church.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2:30 p. m. at the Hazen & Jaeger funeral home, with burial at Riverside Park cemetery. She is survived by her husband, William, at the home; two sons, C. E. of Los Angeles, Cal., and John A. of Spokane; two daughters, Mrs. E. F. Curtis of Seattle and Mrs. C. M. Frasier of Cheney, and 10 grandchildren.
