Ray T. Langley, 92, St. Joseph, MO., died Sept. 10, 1998, at a St. Joseph hospital.

Mr. Langley was born May 26, 1906, in Guilford, Mo. His parents were John Calvin and Sarah Malinda Herring Langley. He married Gertrude Lucille Rhoads.

He had farmed in the Guilford area, and had resided in Maryville, where he worked in construction. He had also worked for the Missouri State Hospital Dairy, working a total of 40 years before retiring. He had moved to St. Joseph in 1959. He was a member of the Wyatt Park Christian Church, and he had been active in the Senior Citizens Center of St. Joseph.

He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, a son, two daughters, two sisters, and a brother.

Survivors include a son, Hershel T. Langley, St. Joseph; two daughters, Wanda J. Corwin, St. Joseph; and Ramona L. Vinzant, Maryville; two sisters, Stella Pasch, Maryville, and Ruby Davis, Ravenwood, Mo; 14 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

Services were Saturday, Sept. 12, 1998, at Meierhoffer-Fleeman Funeral Home, St. Joseph, Mo.
Burial was in the Graves Cemetery, Guilford, Mo.
