Norma Jean Truslow, 54, of Nellysford, passed away at home on Wednesday, July 15, 2015, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her family and beloved cat, Rabbit. born on November 5, 1960, she was preceded in death by her father, Roger Smith.
She is survived by her mother, Janice Smith; husband, William "PeeWee" Truslow; daughters, Jennifer Knotts Meade and husband, Kevin, and Christine Wade and boyfriend, Chaevis Ashley; sisters, Linda Smith and Lary McDaniel, Diane Purvis and husband, Jim, and Tammy Matheny and husband, Jerry; granddaughters, Alyssa and Aimee Meade, the apples of her eye; nephew, James Truslow; niece, Dianna Benson; and dear friends, Evelyn and Butch Dean and Bliss Wade.
Her family, friends and customers will come together on Sunday, July 19, 2015, from 6:30 until 8 p.m. at Basic City Luncheonette for a celebration of her life. Arrangements by Wells/Sheffield Funeral Chapel of Lovingston (434) 263-4097.
