Funeral services for Kelly R. Lasater, 67-year-old World War I veteran were held at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel in Bonham at 2 p.m. Sunday. Interment was in the Dodd City Cemetery.
Mr. Lasater died in Lisbon Hospital, Dallas, Dec. 18, 1958.
A native of Tennessee, Lasater was born in Murfreesboro, Oct. 10, 1891, and came to Texas with his parents who settled in the Bailey community. He had farmed in the Windom community a number of years.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ruby Cox Lasater, and a daughter, Melba Dean, of the home, Windom; a son, Billy Joe Lasater, of Pueblo, Colo.; three brothers, W. C. Lasater of Tioga, Roy Lasater of Idalou and Earl Lasater of Telephone; two sisters, Mrs. Nimmie Roberts of Bonham and Miss Zelda Lasater of Telephone.
