She and husband George Aldrich arrived in New England 6 Nov. 1631 and settled initially at Dorchester, and then c. 1640 removed to Braintree before finally settling at Mendon c. 1663. They were among the first seven settlers there.

*There is a cenotaph monument (and Find-A-Grave memorial) in The Old Mendon Cemetery. George Aldrich & wife Katherine Seald are actually buried in The George Aldrich Cemetery, Uxbridge. 17th Century headstones remain marking their burial and dispelling the previously held theory that they are interred in what is now Mendon.
