Mrs. Moran was a stolid nature and not easily frightened. She was a small indomitable woman, her hand always busy about her household sores. Many a beautiful quilts are preserved in the family. She rode horseback to church at Pasquo until she became to old then she drove a hose so wild her sons had to hold his head until she could take up the reins.
