Emken-Linton Funeral Home with Pastors Rudy Rios and Dan Cockrell officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster. Visitation will be 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral
home.
Mr. Hammock was born December 8, 1923, in Cass County, Texas. He was a retired carpenter for Union Carbide and a member of Temple Baptist Church. He served his country in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his son Roger Hammock and wife Ge Peng of Mountainview, California; daughter Linda Gibson and husband Gary of Pearland; sister Louise Burson and
husband Royce of Atlanta, Texas; grandchildren Julie Gibson and Jeff Gibson of Clear Lake City.
Pallbearers will be Andy Spoehrer, Tony Jones, Eddie Soliz, Jimmy Burch, Steve Fitts, and Bob Sawin.
