His surviving children are Lois (Jan) Lackershire of Phillips, Debbie (Ron) Kielizewski of Junction City, Kathy (Les) Wriedt of Thorp, Steve Dawson of Cumberland, Gary Dawson of Owen, Gwen (Bob) Diamond of Glidden, Bradley (Jackie) Dawson of St. Croix, Bryan (Theresa) Dawson of Cumberland, Barry (Jerri) Dawson of Cumberland, and Peggy Dawson of Owen.

His deceased family includes his wife Doris, three sons Dale, Russell and David, and daughter Judy Scholzen.

Raymond Dawson, 46, of rural Unity, died Thursday morning, November 20, 1969, at the Marshfield Convalescent Center.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at Dorchester. Interment was made in the town of Brighton Cemetery, Unity.

Raymond Dawson was born at Milan, January 17, 1923. His marriage took place at Goodrich in 1945 to the former Doris Stahnke, who survives. They lived at Athens and West Allis, and for the past seven years made their home near Unity.

Besides his wife, he is survived by 13 children, including seven sons, Russell of Wausau, and David Steven, Garry, Bradley, Brian and Barry, all at home, and six daughters, Lois of Milwaukee, Mrs. Ronald (Judy) Leonard of Unity, and Debra, Cathy, Gwendolyn and Peggy, at home.

His is also survived by three grandchildren, his mother, Mrs. Flora Dawson of Athens, four brothers, Thomas of Tennessee, Martin and Lawrence of Milwaukee, and Elmer of Abbotsford, and seven sisters, Mrs. Ervin Runzheimer of Milan, Mr.s Paul Hoffman and Mrs. Harold Frane of Athens, Mrs. Clarence Klempke of Colby, Mrs Marvin Stahnke of Goodrich, Mrs. Gerry Ebert of Columbus and Mrs. Aurelle LaRoque of Abbotsford.
