Regina A. "Gina" Wagaman passed away at Rest Haven on Tuesday, July 14, 2015, at the age of 91. She was born on June 7, 1924, in Abbottstown, a daughter of the late Harry and Geneva (Rutter) Anthony.

She was predeceased by her loving husband, Victor V. "Vic" Wagaman, on August 16, 2012. They were married for sixty-two years.

Gina is survived and dearly loved by her children, Anne W. Nickles and husband, Terry, Edward J. Wagaman and wife, Cathleen, Mary E. "Meg" Wagaman, and Josephine M. "Jo" Wagaman; four grandchildren, Kara C. Taylor and husband, Chris, Erinn V. Leib and husband, Mike, Jacqueline C. Wagaman, and John E. Wagaman; great-granddaughter, Sophia S. Taylor; and sister-in-law, Joyce Anthony. Gina is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and their extended families.

She was the last surviving child in her family. She was predeceased by her three brothers, Bernard H. Anthony, Frederick R. Anthony and Francis "Piney" Anthony; and two sisters, Josephine "Sis" Pemberton and Mary Shuman.

Mrs. Wagaman was a homemaker and was later employed by the Charles A. Schaefer Flower Shop for ten years. Her love of flowers extended from the shop to her home as she enjoyed gardening and fixing flower arrangements. She was also an excellent baker and was very musically inclined as she played the piano and filled the family home with beautiful sounds. Gina enjoyed singing until her passing and her rendition of "Hello, Dolly" was a favorite. She was dearly loved and will be missed by those who loved her.

Mrs. Wagaman's family is especially grateful to Drs. LiJoi, Bushwick, and Delp and residents of the Thomas Hart Family Practice Center for their medical care and guidance.

The family also greatly appreciated the assistance of the administration and caregivers of Rest Haven and White Rose Hospice. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 17, 2015, at St. Mary's Church, 309 S. George St., York, PA, with the Rev. Daniel C. Mitzel as celebrant.

Burial will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery following the Mass. The John W. Keffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church (address above); or Rest Haven's Activities Fund, 1050 S. George St., York, PA 17403. KefferFH.com
