AUBURN WIDOW, 76, DIES AT REST HOME
Jennie Smalley, Wife Of Late Roland Smalley, Succumbs To Complications--Funeral Services Thursday

Mrs JENNIE SMALLEY, 76-year-old Auburn widow, died at 5:30 am Tuesday in the Betz Nursing Home north of Auburn. Mrs Smalley, widow of the late Roland Smalley, succumbed to a complication of diseases following an illness of more than a year. She had entered the nursing home about a year ago.

The body was removed to the Gerig Funeral Home in Auburn where friends may call after noon Wednesday. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev Robert Jackson pastor of the Huntertown Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Chapel Cemetery southwest of Auburn.

The Auburn widow was a member of the Auburn Methodist Church.

Mrs Smalley was born near Auburn May 10, 1885 daughter of the late George Barton and Margaret Harvey Barton.

In a ceremony performed Oct 28, 1905 in Auburn she was married to Roland Smalley who preceded her in death in 1934.

Mrs Smalley had resided on East Fifth Street Auburn for 40 years.

Surviving are two nieces Mrs Elmer Dunten of near Huntertown and Mrs Leland Hoshaw of St John's; and a nephew Art Smalley of Hamilton Ohio.
