MR. CHARLES E. ACKMAN, 73, Holiday Lane, Titusville, died Monday.
Mr. Ackman came to this area four months ago from Burgettstown, Penn. He was a Presbyterian by faith.
Survivors include his widow, Edna, of Pennsylvania; son, Don Ackman, Titusville, daughter Mrs. Ruth Harper, Penn., four brothers and sisters.
Smith Funeral Home of Titusville is in charge of arrangements.

"Da Da" was farm manager for Carl Justus Mulert, Sr. in the 1940-50s Frankfort Springs, PA.

Granddad (nickname "Da Da") died on a fishing expedition on the Indian River waterways (Titusville, Florida) with Donald. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing.

Da Da signed up to fight but, as far as I know, was never called up to serve.
