Funeral services for Floyd Dinwiddie, age 83, of Rt.1, Dodd City, who died April 23, 1984, at Fannin County Hospital will be held Wednesday in the Wise Funeral Home Chapel, Conducted by Rev. Bennie Lewis who will be assisted by Rev. Raymond Brown. Burial will be in the Dodd City Cemetery.

Dinwiddie, a retired Dodd City farmer, was born in Wright County Mo., Jan 31, 1901, son of John William and Riene (Mckiel) Dinwiddie.

Survivors are three sons, Bobby Ponath of Irving, Frank Ponath of Lewisville, Bill Dinwiddie of Bonham; one daughter Mrs. Don Kinkade of Dodd City; four brothers, Russell Dinwiddie of Conway, Mo., Henry Dinwiddie, William Welvin Dinwiddie, and Marion Dinwiddie all of Niangua, Mo., one sister Thelma George of Missouri; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
