James, 82, died from Apoplexy (heart trouble, after an only few hours illness). Son Oliver Jacobs, Pennsboro, MO is the informant on his MO Death Certificate.
Wife Sarah died sometime after early 1916. She had a stroke in January, 1916, and the last newspaper reporting was that she went to Los Angeles, California March, 1916 to visit her daughters. She is listed in the 1920 Dade County, MO Census. I haven't been able to find information of her death or burial.
