She was born in Elizabeth, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Freemont and Nancy J. Hall Boice and spent the majority of her life in Steubenville, O. In Steubenville, she was employed at the Hub Dept. Store and was a member of Steubenville First Baptist Church, where she taught a Sunday School class for 50 years.
Mrs. Cox is survived by one sister, Mrs. Ethel Conrad of Belpre.
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at McClaive Funeral Home in Steubenville. Burial was in Ft. Steuben Cemetery.
