Beatrice married Robert Ambrosier on 14 April 1927 in Wood County, and they had a son, Vernon, who was killed in a fatal auto accident at age 19. She was the daughter of Ira and Louisa Prey Shook. She had an eighth grade education and was a telegrapher. Beatrice has been previously married to Leo H. Zuch on 13 April 1921 in Monroe, Michigan and was divorced. She was an Eastern Star. Beatrice died from a cerebral-vascular accident at the age of 85 years 7 months and 26 days.
