Mrs. Charles Essley

Sylvia - Mrs. Matilda Essley, 89, died Thursday afternoon at the Siesta Home, Haviland. She was born August 14, 1880, at Sylvia. She was married to Charles Essley in 1929, at Sylvia. He died in 1942. She had been a lifetime resident of Sylvia.

She was a member of Pleasant Hill Nazarene Church, Sylvia.

Survivors include daughters: Miss Elna Snowbarger, Hutchinson; Mrs. Harley Melville, of the home; Mrs. Ansel Wyer, 628 West 18th; Mrs. Harold Thompson, Holcomb; sons: Ralph Snowbarger, of the home; Everett Snowbarger, 3106 Tulane; sister: Mrs. Carl Coleman of the home; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the church; Rev. Orlando Jantz. Burial will be in the Fairview cemetery, Sylvia. Friends may call at the Peacock-Milton Memorial Chapel, Stafford.
