Glocester - Luanne C. Garvin, 39, of Sunrise Terrace, Chepachet, died Monday at home, after an illness. She was the wife of Dana A. Garvin. Born in Boston, a daughter of Hilton R. and Janet M. (Ferguson) Carew, both of Cumberland, she had been a resident of Cumberland before moving to Chepachet four years ago. Mrs. Garvin was a member of the Chepachet Union Church.
Besides her husband and parents, she leaves a son, Samuel R. Garvin, and a daughter, Laura C. Garvin, both at home; a paternal grandmother, Anabelle M. Ferguson of Attleboro; two brothers, Robert H. Carew of Milton, Mass., and Alexander C. Carew of Swampscott, Mass.; a sister, Mary Ellen Lyons of Boston; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in Chepachet Union Church, 1139 Putnam Pike, Chepachet. Burial will be private.
