OBITUARY--WILLIS
Ira Nathan Willis, son of Andrew and Ella Arvilla (Schoonover) Willis, was born in Harrison County Oct 1, 1895 and passed away at the Reid Hospital, Bethany, MO., Dec 2, 1959, at the age of 64 years, one month and two days.
When he was 18 years of age, he was converted, baptized and united with the Church of Christ.
He was married to Bertha Parkhurst March 30, 1917. To this union three children were born; his son, Raymond, who preceded him in death Nov 23, 1947, two daughters, Helen (Mrs Billie Richardson) of Blythedale, MO, and Vera (Mrs Chester McDaniel) of Davis City, Iowa; also his daughter-in-law, Mrs Marie Willis of Maryville, MO. He also leaves to mourn his departing, eight grandchilderen, who were his pride and joy: Nathan, David and Randy Willis; Gary, Lyle, Rebecca and Patty Richardson and Louise McDaniel.
He had two brothers, Howard and Andrew Willis living in Orland, Calif. Two sisters; Blanche Stallsworth and Gary (Mary-cs) O'Neal both of Cainsville, MO. He had three sisters and one brother who preceded him in death: Pearl Parsons, Minnie Willis, Oma McClain and Arthur(Isaac Artest-cs) Willis.
