Adela Juarez Anzaldua, 77, passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 1st, surrounded by her family into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior. Adela was born on October 1, 1937, in Rio Hondo, Texas to Jose and Blasita Juarez. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Adela was preceded in death by her parents, Jose A Juarez and Blasita S. Juarez; and siblings, Ismael S. Juarez, Jesusa Ochoa, Rodolfo S. Juarez, Elidia J. Cortez and Josefina Carrisalez.

She is survived by her husband, Roberto R. Anzaldua; Son, Robert Jr. and wife, Priscilla Anzaldua; Daughter, Velma and husband, Rick Arney; Grandchildren, Vanessa, Valerie, Kristopher, Amanda and Brandon Anzaldua, Blair, Cole and Luke Arney; and Great Grandchildren, Zo?, Michael and Aiden Krogsdale; Brothers, Isabel, Narciso and Leonardo Juarez; Sisters, Magdelena Ryan, Eudelia Herrera, Rosita Leal and Antonia McHaffey.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, Texas. A Rosary will be recited.

The mass of Christian Burial will be held at Emmaus Catholic Church, 1718 Lohmans Crossing Road, Lakeway, TX 78734. The interment will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
