MRS. JULIA DUNN 86, died at 9:20 PM Friday at Elsies' Nursing home, 1021 Hackberry Street. She was the daughter of GEORGE and MARY BLOODSWORTH BENNETT, and was born in Wapello County Iowa September 17, 1877. She has been a resident of Ottumwa most of her life. She was a member of the Salvation Army.
Surviving are 1 daughter MRS. HATTIE LONG of Ottumwa,Iowa; 13 Grandchildren and several g. grandchildren. She is survived by a sister MRS. NANCY MILLHOUSE of Ottumwa,Iowa. She was preceded in death by her first husband HENRY PILCHER in 1914 and by 1 son GEORGE H. PILCHER.
The funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM at the Johnson Funeral Chapel in Ottumwa, Iowa. In charge will be Capt. Donald C. Olson of the Salvation Army. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery.
She had been a resident of Ottumwa most of her life and was a member of the Salvation Army.
She was survived by one daughter, Mrs. Hattie Long of Ottumwa; 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was also survived by a sister, Mrs. Nancy Millhouse of Ottumwa.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Henry Pilcher in 1914, and by one son, George H. Pilcher.
