Following forty years residence in Oakland, Mrs. Antonia Cianciarulo succumbed yesterday to an illness brought on by the infirmities of advanced age. Widely known in the Latin colonies of the bay cities, her loss is especially felt among Italian-Americans of Oakland, Alameda and Berkeley.
Surviving are two sons, John and Michael Cianciarulo, and a daughter, Mrs. Theresa Russo. The family is prominent in Oakland among business people and property owners. The Cianciarulo interests include much local realty and several mercantile establishments.
Mrs. Cianciarulo was 87 years old and a native of southern Italy. Interment will take place in St. Mary's cemetery.
