Russell H. Alumbaugh, of Moran, died on Monday. Burial Wednesday, in Moran Cemetery.
He was born Jan. 30, 1916, in Allen County, the son of Albert and Etta Lou Tinsley Alumbaugh.
He was a farmer in both agriculture and dairy.
On Jan. 29, 1937, he married Evelyn Elizabeth Kuchera at Iola. She died Feb. 3, 1983. Survivors include two sons, Paul Dean, and Albert Charles; two daughters, Jean Louise Jackson, and Eva May Goebel; two sisters, Dorothy Trites, and Helen Bolin; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Three brothers, Vern, Roy, Verl; an infant brother, Paul, and sister, Edna Sayers, died earlier.
